Synthetic Sublime explores a digital form of awe, where massive computational structures replace storms and cliffs as the source of overwhelming scale.
In classical art, the sublime often comes from overwhelming natural forces such as storms or cliffs. In the digital age, awe can emerge from vast computational structures that exceed human comprehension. The work gives those structures a visible body through impossible floating forms and synthetic color.
